Win Peter Blake's art made from 700 bars

1. Information on how to enter forms part of these conditions of entry. Participation in this competition constitutes acceptance of these conditions of entry.

2. Entry is open only to UK residents aged 16 years and over. Directors, management and employees (and the immediate families of directors, management and employees) of the Promoter or the agencies or companies associated with this competition are ineligible to enter the competition.

3. Only one entry per individual. First valid entry per individual is the only accepted entry from that individual.

4. To enter, entrants must submit an entry form on the competition website (internet access required) by the Closing Date.

5. The Promoter cannot accept entries from persons who wish to place the chocolate art in a public location where persons under 16 years old are the primary audience, and cannot deliver the art to such a location.

6. The winner accepts responsibility to ensure responsible consumption of the chocolate element of the art.

7. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted or misdirected entries, claims or correspondence whether due to error, omission, alteration, tampering, deletion, theft, destruction, transmission interruption, communications failure or otherwise.

8. There is one prize available to be won consisting of the Art of Green & black's design as created by Peter Blake using 700 standard Green & Black’s bars placed in front of a print of the real image. The winner will receive either a large print as well as 700 standard Green & Black’s bars mounted onto the image or alternatively can choose to receive a signed print of Peter Blake's art and 700 standard bars of Green & Black’s chocolate boxed. The prize will be delivered to the winner’s choice of address and erected there.

9. The competition begins on 18th November 2009 and closes at midnight on 18th February 2010 (the ‘Closing Date’).

10. The winner will be selected randomly from all valid entries.

11. The winner will be emailed by 22nd February 2010. The winner will be contacted by telephone and email until 1st March, if in this time a winner is not available or does not respond to the Promoter, the Promoter has the right to select another winner.

12. The winner must, at the Promoter’s request, participate in all promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize, free of charge, and they consent to the Promoter using their name and image in promotional material.

13. The Promoter and its associated agencies and companies will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

14. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable and cannot be redeemed for cash or any other form of compensation. In the event for any reason a prize winner does not take an element of the prize at the time stipulated by the Promoter, then that element of the prize will be forfeited by the winner and neither cash nor any other form of compensation will be supplied in lieu of that element of the prize. If for any reason a prize is not available, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute another prize for it, in its sole discretion, of equal or higher value.

15. If for any reason any aspect of this competition is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of the Promoter which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this competition, the Promoter may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition, or invalidate any affected entries.

16. If a winning entry is deemed not to comply with these conditions of entry, the entry will be discarded and a new winner of the prize will be determined by the judges.

17. The Promoter reserves the right to publish the name and county of residence of the competition winners.

18. The name of the winner may be obtained by sending a stamped addressed envelope to: Green & Black's Competition, Green & Black's, Bournville Place, Bournville, Birmingham B30 2LU.

19. The promoter is Green & Black's Ltd, a trading division of Cadbury UK Limited (the ‘Promoter’) whose registered address is at Bournville Place, Bournville, Birmingham B30 2LU.

20. These terms and conditions are governed by English Law and shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English Courts.

21. Unless express consent is given by the entrant for use of the personal information for marketing purposes, the personal information entrants provide will be used by the Promoter for the purpose of conducting this competition. The Promoter may disclose entrants’ personal information to its contractors and agents to assist in conducting this competition or communicating with entrants. The Promoter is bound by the Data Protection Acts (1984 and 1998). Entrants can request access to the personal information the Promoter holds about them by contacting Green & Black's, Bournville Place, Bournville, Birmingham B30 2LU.
